Guest Speaker: Dennis Rowe

Certified Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation® Program; National Director of Education for Maharishi Foundation USA, the organization that offers Transcendental Meditation (TM®) in the US.

SPEAKER BIO

Dennis Rowe has been a Certified Teacher of Transcendental Meditation for 54 years, and offers instruction in TM on Whidbey Island. Dennis has been the national director of education for Maharishi Foundation USA since 2008. In addition to teaching the Transcendental Meditation technique, he is a leader in Consciousness-Based education, as a former co-director of Maharishi School (K–12) in Fairfield, Iowa, and a faculty member of Maharishi Open University. Dennis has developed Consciousness-Based curriculum for elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educational programs.

The Maharishi Foundation was founded in 1959 by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Established to promote the practice of the Transcendental Meditation technique and maintain the authenticity of the teaching, it has since grown to become a global organization with branches in over 100 countries. Maharishi Foundation USA is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.
