4Legged Wisdom and Wellness is a Whidbey Island–based holistic animal wellness practice dedicated to improving the health, comfort, and quality of life of horses, dogs, and other animals through an integrative approach to care. By combining traditional bodywork with complementary therapies, the practice partners with veterinarians and animal caregivers to address each animal’s unique physical, emotional, and environmental needs while strengthening the bond between people and their animals.

About the Owner
Founder Elizabeth Johnson, EBW, CMFT, has more than four decades of experience working with domestic animals, wildlife, and exotic species. Drawing from her background as a veterinary technician, wildlife biologist, educator, and certified equine and canine bodyworker, Elizabeth blends science, compassion, and holistic healing to support animal wellness. She has worked alongside leading veterinarians, taught internationally recognized bodywork programs, and is passionate about helping animals and their caregivers achieve lasting health through education, empathy, and integrative care. She and her husband, wildlife veterinarian Dr. Mark Johnson, also educate wildlife professionals on humane animal care and handling techniques.
