The History of Freeland Hall

Originally built in 1914 by volunteers of the Freeland Improvement Club (a group specifically organized for the purpose of building the hall) in partnership with the First Thursday Club, a group of women organized in 1902 to promote free thinking women. For over a century, this building has hosted many community events, dances, weddings and local club meetings.
